CLASS/CROP POLICIES:

•  All events must be paid for at time of registration. You may register at the store or via phone with a credit card.

•  We require a 48-hour notice to reschedule or cancel a class. If we do not receive notice, all fees will be forfeited. If we must cancel class due to weather or class size, we will gladly reschedule or refund your fees.

•  We reserve the right to cancel classes with less than three and crops with less than five.

•  For every class at Memories, you are required to bring or purchase a “Basic Class Kit” – this contains a 12” paper trimmer, straight-edge scissors, acid free black marker and adhesives. Other items may be requested as well – check with the store when you register. Please also bring 8-10 photos of related events to all scrapbooking classes unless directed otherwise. Do NOT cut them before you come to class.

•  Children age 10-14 may attend classes/crops with an adult and a paid class fee. Otherwise, please no children under age 10.

Classes at Memories in the Making:

We will be offering all levels of classes on an ongoing basis. Our scrapbook classes will focus on applying the latest techniques, using some common materials in new ways, and ultimately taking home a completed layout or two. Our card-making classes will be fun for everyone – you don't need to be a scrapbooker to get involved, but if you are, you may want to recreate the techniques for your scrapbooks! Whether it's cards for special occasions, gift tags, place cards or note cards, each class will be unique and provide you with an array of handmade items to take home.

– Do you want to get started with this fun and rewarding hobby? Or maybe you have one album you'd like to create to preserve memories of a special trip or event. Don't know where to begin? We'll share the basics on how to create a safe and creative environment for your photos and keepsakes and how to make your scrapbooking a success. You'll have a chance to create some basic layouts with the help of your instructor. You will receive a $10 Memories Bucks Coupon to cover the cost of supplies you may need to make your scrapbook layouts. 2.5 hours. $10

– Have you attended the Basics Class and are ready to take the next step? This is the class for you! Learn how to use fun embellishments such as brads, ribbons, chalks, etc. Soon you'll want to be jazzing up every page with these extra items. 2.5 hours. $15 includes all materials needed for layouts.

– Create 6 to 8 attractive greeting cards to take home and have on hand for those special occasions. 2 hours. $15 includes all materials needed for cards.

Crops at Memories in the Making:

A crop is the scrapbooker's version of the old-fashioned quilting bee. Share a good helping of food, laughs and creative inspiration with other scrappers who want to have fun and get something accomplished. This is a great opportunity to grab some well-deserved “me” time and get away from the distractions of home.

We will host regularly scheduled crops as well as special events across the year. Check out our store or online calendar regularly for upcoming crops and special events.

– Enjoy 10 hours with fellow croppers. Bring lots of photos and unfinished projects and we'll take care of lunch, dinner and provide lots of prizes. Store will be open to attendees for the duration! $20, or free if you spend $100

– This is a perfect follow up to the Basic Scrapbooking Class or for any novices seeking creative techniques and support from other beginners. Crop for three hours and have a blast sharing ideas and making friends. Instructor will be on hand to suggest layout designs, color schemes and direct you to products which would work with your pictures. $5, or free if you spend $20

- $5, free if you spend $25, 5 till 10 , includes snacks and beverages. Get to know each other as you share conversation and lots of ideas during a fun girls' night out. Store will be open to attendees for the duration!
